I’m a 2020 exhibitor and plan to participate in the 2021 annual conference. Is there anything I need to do at this time?
Just let Kristen Collins, Conference Director know via the registration form sent earlier and we’ll update your registration accordingly.
I’m a 2020 exhibitor and/or a sponsor and do not plan or do not know if we plan to participate in the 2021 annual conference. Is there anything I need to do at this time?
Yes, please contact Kristen Collins, Conference Director or via the registration form sent earlier so that we may issue you a refund.
I’m a 2020 exhibitor and/or sponsor and have not paid yet, what should I do now?
Please do not send in payment as it will be returned to you but get in touch with Kristen Collins, Conference Director to discuss next steps.
I’m an 2020 exhibitor and plan to participate in the 2021 annual conference being held at the same location (Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center). Can I be assured that my booth preference request will be honored?
Yes, we will migrate your booth preference request along with your registration details to your 2021 registration. As we open registration in the fall, we will be in touch with you to make any updates in terms of staffing, meals, etc. as needed/desired. Note that we do not formally assign booth numbers until April anyway, but we usually are able to honor your first-choice preference.
I’m a 2020 sponsor and plan to sponsor the 2021 annual conference. Can I just have the same sponsorship opportunity I already selected?
We can credit your payment to a new opportunity and will very likely be able to offer the same one as 2020. However, there may be new ones you might want to consider. The conference director will be in touch personally in the fall to help you make an informed decision about which opportunity might work best in 2021.
I proactively worked with my library to issue a check payable to the MLA for the conference even though registration had not been opened yet. What do I do now?

I booked a hotel room already for the conference. What’s the best way for me to cancel my reservation?
Your hotel reservation has already been cancelled and you should have received an email from the hotel. If you haven’t received the email from the hotel, please contact Kristen Collins, Conference Director and provide your reservation details including confirmation number.
I’m a speaker and I already booked my travel. What do I do now?
Please contact your MLA program shepherd or primary liaison who will guide you with next steps.
I’m a speaker and I am interested in presenting my program for MLA 2021, do I need to resubmit my program?
You do not need to resubmit your program.
